Since my last update, I’ve created a breadboard version of the arduimometer without the Arduino. I’ve also been writing an instructable which will take you step-by-step on creating the arduimometer, which I hope will be finished in time to submit to sparkfuns microcontroller contest on instructables.
Everything seems be working nicely, the only issue their may be would be a power issues.
Right now I have everything running off of a 9volt battery and in testing, I’m finding that that might not be enough juice to run the arduimometer for a long period of time. Once I get the actual anemometer finished and set it up for a prolonged test I’ll get a better idea about the 9V battery and if it is capable of running for a long period of time.
